What is YouVouch?

YouVouch is a platform designed to connect people through the use of YouVouch vouches, vouch lists, and groups. Vouch lists are lists of people that our registered Users vouch for with respect to a specific skillset. When you vouch for someone, you vouch for them based on your personal knowledge and/or your previous experience using their services. YouVouch lists are searchable by specialization or field, or by the network of people you know. Our platform allows you to vouch for someone, connect with a person vouched for by someone you know, or connect with someone vouched for by someone in the network of someone you know.

We take the concepts of referrals and introductions to a whole new level.

Through YouVouch, freelancers and other independent contractors can find work, and Users can find vetted talent to help them accomplish specific projects or tasks.

How do you know the freelancer is vetted? Because they've been referred by people you know, or by people who are known by the people you know. This platform and its underlying concepts of networking, referrals, vouches, and introductions only work, however, if Users agree to follow and abide by these Terms.

What YouVouch Can Do For You

YouVouch is a platform designed to make the processes of networking, referrals and introductions easier and more convenient, minus the element of awkwardness.

For a Freelancer, you no longer have to reach out to your client and ask them for feedback or referrals. You can simply send your client a survey asking them to rate your services. This allows you to gain valuable feedback on how they feel about your services, your strengths, and the areas where you can grow. When a client vouches for you, it means that they are personally recommending your services to others, because they trust and rely upon you and they recommend that others do the same. Personal recommendations from present or former clients is one of the best ways to build your network and generate more work.

For clients, you no longer have to sit at your desk wracking your brains to try to put into words how you feel about the services of someone you've worked with. It's simple – you accomplish a survey that captures data on that person's strengths and weaknesses. And if you trust and vouch for that person to be hired by anyone else looking for a similar skillset, you can simply add them to your YouVouch List. No more awkward reviews, and no more recommending someone and having it feel like having to do more work that you don't have time for.

If you are a Registered User looking for someone to help you on a particular project or task, but you don't know anyone with those specific skills in your immediate circle, and you want someone reliable, trustworthy and professional, you can try looking for a potential candidate in Groups. Groups bring together lists of all Users' YouVouch lists, categorized by specialty or field. Simply join the Group as a member, and you will be able to view and access the vouch lists compiled by the other members of the group

Looking for a website designer but you don't know anyone who has web design skills? Look for the appropriate group, join the group as a member, and you will have access to and be able to look through the lists in the appropriate group to locate a web designer vouched for by someone you know, or someone they know. Using our platform, you can connect immediately and directly with that potential candidate, using our Website's introduction feature, and start building your own network of reliable and trustworthy workers and professionals.

Trust and Reputation

Trust and Reputation are the foundation of our YouVouch lists. By vouching for someone, you are telling everyone that you find that person as reliable, trustworthy, and worth hiring for their services. When people hire someone based on your recommendation, and they echo your own positive feedback, your reputation and profile are enhanced.

Conversely, as a User who is a freelancer or an independent professional vouched for by someone, if you are able to generate more work and clients with the use of our platform, and those new clients begin adding you to their YouVouch lists, you can start building a reputation and trustworthiness score that can take your business and career to the next level. If you are looking to connect with and provide services to a client who is located halfway around the world, with no other chance to connect other than remotely, trust and reputation can go a long way. Trust and reputation can open doors for you that would otherwise have been closed.

Creating Your YouVouch Lists

The Website allows each Registered User to create lists of different professionals, specialists, experts, authorities, or any other skilled workers, whom they personally vouch for. Vouching for someone is premised upon reliability and trust. The person you vouch for is someone you rely upon to solve specific problems or handle specific projects under each field or industry, and vouching for them indicates that you trust them explicitly and implicitly.

Your reliability is impacted by your YouVouch lists. When people hire professionals or experts based on your YouVouch list, and they echo their feedback of that person by also putting them on their YouVouch list, you get a trust and credibility rating as someone whose personal recommendations are always worthwhile.

Surveys

Want to give feedback to someone but not sure how ? Or maybe you want to ask a client for their feedback on their services but want to skip the awkwardness of doing so.

Surveys are designed to do just that. Send a simple survey to your client and they can provide their feedback by simply accomplishing your survey, without having to draft a review that may not fully capture how they feel about you and the work they did for you. As a freelancer, you also get substantial, data- based feedback on your strengths, and the areas you may need to work on. Maybe the results of surveys would allow you to focus your services on a particular strength or field that you truly enjoy, echoed by clients who loved your work and who loved working with you. If there is any area that you want to focus on but aren’t sure what you should work on, surveys provide you a legitimate review that enables you to better hone your skills, whether it be using a particular software, focusing on your client management skills, time management, or any other skills you want to build upon and add to your skillset.

Sharing Your YouVouch Lists

YouVouch lists are designed to be both shareable and searchable. The beauty of our YouVouch lists are that they contain very useful information for anyone looking for a specific professional or skilled worker, whether it is someone to help you draft a contract, someone to help you with your CMS, someone to provide bookkeeping services, someone to help you with renovating your house, or even as simple as a babysitter for the next weekend. It is a one-stop shop for those looking for referrals, and those looking to market and advertise their services and gain more clients. Clients who vouch for you include you on their YouVouch list, which simplifies and fulfills the goal of networking on many different levels.

Your Profile

Once people find you on a YouVouch list, their next step is your profile. Your bio allows you to give people a bit more background on who you are, what you do, your likes and dislikes. You can share links to your personal website and social media accounts to allow people to cross check your references and discover more about the type of person you are. You can also use your profile to create a list of your services by category, to simplify and focus the types of services you offer, for which clients can reach out to you.

Your profile is also designed to be shareable across platforms. So if a customer is not yet a Registered User of YouVouch, it is a simple matter to direct them to your profile, invite them to join and create their User accounts, accomplish a survey and include you on their YouVouch list.

Introductions

Networking often falls short when it comes to introductions. When searching for a specific professional or skillset, our platform provides you a list of recommended persons or referrals of freelancers or independent professionals recommended by people you know. You don’t have to reach out to the person who vouched for them, whether directly or indirectly, for an introduction. You can simply click on their link, give or ask for an introduction, and a connection is made.

Groups

Groups enhance the searchability function of our Website by bringing together groups of people, whether you are a specialist, professional, a skilled worker in a specific field or industry, or whether you are just looking for someone to help you with a project or task in the same field. By joining the Group, you can share your lists with other members of the Group. Conversely, you can also view the lists of the other members of the Group.

Say you are searching for an interior decorator, but no one in your network, or in your friends’ networks, vouched for someone with the specific skill set you need. You can go to Groups, look for and join the Group under the appropriate field or category, and then you can search the vouch lists of the other members in the same group. A search conducted within the group will generate a list of referrals of for you from others’ YouVouch lists, even if they are not in your immediate network. From there, you can begin to explore the Website’s Introduction feature, establish a connection, and grow your network.
